St. George Russian Orthodox Church is currently raising money to build a new church. The building is old, very small and on a small residental street, so we have bought a new plot of land that we are planning to build on VERY soon. Yesterday, we went sledding on that property and this is what we built there:
Minty spent the weekend inside. He is now outside in his hutch again, happy to be back in his house, I think!

love your snow sculpture! looks so cold there though!!! it's 80 degrees here today!
the holder is called the desktop carousel by making memories. you can get them at michaels. i waited until i could get my hands on a 40% off coupon in the Sunday paper, and i used it on that. sooo worth it!
the guy is the layout is my boyfriend. :o)
Great sculpture!! Wow!!! Sad to see that the snow is almost gone! It sure didn't stay for very long!
Oh how beautiful! Did you name the church? :) I miss the snow so much! BTW, I've seen that desktop carousel too, I want one too! I'm going to get myself one when I'm done refinishing an old desk my dad made years ago for my grandfather, but he passed away before my dad could give it to him. So my brother used it for years and now when they moved back to Ohio, I claimed it. :)
What a lovely creation! Good luck with the building of the new church.
May God bless your adventures in building a new church. How wonderful that you are growing in numbers to constitute a new building. Keep us in your prayers for a new church as well, we are in dire need and only God can help us.
Give Minty a pet and hug for us =)
Oh my goodness, that is so cool! What a great snowchurch!
And, forgive me, my sister.
Very cute! We can only dream of snow down here! Kristina
