It's known as Super Tuesday, because so many states are voting in the Republican primaries. I consider myself a "crunchy conservative" actually, not a Republican. I love America, for the way it was founded, a place for the British to escape and obtain religious freedom!
I like to bring fabric bags to the grocery store, I recycle and reuse as many glass jars as I can, I save plastic bottle caps (to make snowmen like the fellow above AND other art projects), I like planting trees and growing vegetable in our backyard garden without the use of any chemical pesticides, we are conscious of what kinds of seeds we buy...heirloom and non-GMO. We have 2 chickens to get the freshest eggs. We thank God for all the freedoms we have and want to treat the earth He gave us well.
Tomorrow, I'm voting for Rick Santorum! I ♥ his "made in America" plan. I like to avoid buying things not made in America. If we have a problem, debt or lack of jobs....don't you think maybe we should try to buy American made products? And American grown fruits and vegetables?
Please vote!
(for whomever you choose, I just feel that MORE people should vote, if you care about our future)

Wow - It's hard for me to imagine snow when the temperatures here are hovering in the high 70s! I certainly can't complain about the weather, that's for sure :)
I completely agree with your views on voting and being a conservative American since I'm one myself. I try to buy American, but it's very hard sometimes. I hope everyone getes out there and votes!!
I totally agree with buying products and services that are "home-grown" We are fairly lucky in Australia to have escaped the Global Financial Crisis, but I still think it's important to keep our money in our country. We currently have a Labor Government here (non-conservative) who work with the Greens Party. Our Prime Minister is an unmarried, childless, athiest (her words) and thankfully she and her party seem to be going down the drain. We are looking forward to our own elections next year and the feeling is that we will return to a Liberal Government (conservative). I agree that more people need to vote. It is compulsory here. It is important that every voice is heard. I was listening to the radio this morning as they were talking about Super Tuesday and that Ohio has been hard hit in the financial crisis. I hope that you and your family are doing well. I will pray for a good outcome from your elections. Thankyou for your kind words on my blog. xx
Martha, you're the Best !!!
We got snow, too! It was so pretty, but I didn't get a single photo of it. It melted by the time I got home from work.
