- 1/3 C cocoa powder
- 1/3 C sugar
- 4 C milk (you can use cow's milk, almond milk...whatever)
- vanilla extract, if you want
- top with whipped cream...extra yummy, but not necessary (I haven't bought marshmallows in a long time, as I think real whipped cream is much better)

Mmmmmmmm. My mom always made homemade cocoa back in the day...
Ohhh, thank you!
I was just looking for a homemade hot chocolate recipe. This will do!! Thank you!
I've been making the same sort of hot chocolate with maple syrup instead of sugar... on fast days I just put in almond milk instead. It's very good! (Better when I can have real milk though!)
