My cousin, Zoya, gave me paperwhite bulbs, and a few weeks ago I put them in these glasses on the windowsill, so they'd get as much sun as they could, and look how they've grown!
This morning, as I headed out the door to work, Olivia said "Mommy, don't forget your lunch!" I had to call one day last week and ask Rob to bring me my lunch, but I did remember it today. Thanks my, little sweetie!Sarah Jeanne and Mike Chocolate came and stayed at our house again for a few days. We made ice cream, using a quart of cream, a teaspoon of vanilla and 2/3 cup of honey, on Sarah's birthday, which was totally scrumptious! She crocheted a bunch of hats while here, I'm so inspired by her will to do something and follow through! My sister, Mary, had a great dinner party, with lots of delicious food. I made phyllo bundles (with sauteed onions, mushrooms, spinach, chicken and cheese inside, grated parmesan on top)! I think the best was the Bourbon biscuit pudding that she served last....

Wow! what yum sounding food! I love how you are always so creative in the kitchen.
Bulbs to me make the best blooms in the world...you MUST do a L.O of them when they are fully open.
I used to crochet too but I haven't done it for such a long time, I have forgotten.....I think being able to crochet a hat must be a hoot!

Looks like a nice party ! those flowers are really COOL - I want an indoor plant, that's easy to grow & easy maintenance, any suggestions ? But I love those flowers ! Is that really Mike's last name ? Chocolate...wow ! lucky guy. smiles.
ALL of those photos made me smile!
The flowers are oh-so pretty! And love that scarf!
I love those plants! They are very lovely. Everytime you talk about food, I drool a little over here! Tonight we just had BBQ hamburgers, but I could go for some of that phyllo bundles!!
No, that's not really Mike's last name, but that's what he goes by now...because he makes fabulous raw chocolates. He brought cacao beans and I ate one straight, then he suggested I pit a date and put the cacao bean inside and it was divine!
