We went to Trader Joe's and I got most of the ingredients to make these Shrimp cakes...
Yesterday was Mary's birthday...and the day we remember St. Oliva of Brescia, Italy, martyred for her Christian faith in 138 AD. To honor this day, I made my Olivia a strawberry pie, her Godmother (Susanna) gave her that pretty pink circle dress (she's wearing it, sitting with Emma on our couch) and Grandma gave her a pretty lacquered jar & samovar magnet. We just read a book called "How the Tsar drinks his tea."
I'm knitting on double point needles...I want to make legwarmers. I know 2 very special ballerinas who could use some!
Beautiful knitting! I'm jealous, I can't do that.
ReplyDeleteSo, how does the Tsar drink his tea?

ReplyDeleteYour's so crafty. I dont' know how to knit ! I love shrimp & will make that someday. There's a Traders' joe in NM, so when we visit my mom in APril, I will have to go to a "TRADER's JOE" in NM. I'm going to make your "pomegranate" tea now. Love, jo

ReplyDeleteyou are so awesome Martha!
ReplyDeleteAfter the first sip, Tsar says "Ah, good!" The same as anyone else would, although there is all that fanfare, an elaborate tea room, gold, marble, music, a special tea cup, etc. at the Tsar's palace at tea time!
ReplyDeleteCool! Thanks for answering!
