Yesterday we took down the Christmas tree... what did ingenius little Olivia do?Pretty hearts, eh?
I am adding more photos on Flickr (see link on the right side)...Today we celebrated Theophany, when John baptised the Lord Jesus in the Jordan River. Lots of water was blessed and everyone filled their bottles to take home. Someday this week, we'll have our house blessed. We have a bit of cleaning to do!
I wanted to share this book I'm making for a project in a course I'm taking:
The hearts are very pretty. I hope you had a blessed Theophany. My husband has been doing house blessings for the last two weeks, but he needs to do our too!
ReplyDeleteCute little hearts ! yah !. WOW, holy water ... it's been a while I had one.
ReplyDeletePretty hearts!
ReplyDeleteBlessed Feast!
You know what I really like on your page? Your book shelf...perusing was fun and I like your reviews, very helpful
Awesome ideas with the hearts. I have tons of leftover mini candy canes from some cookie decorating this year. I was wondering what to do with them. Save them for next year? Throw them out? Crush them in ice cream? Now I have an idea thanks to Olivia!
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet pretty project that she thought of making! maybe I'll even take her idea and make those for Valentine's!
ReplyDeleteLovely LO, my friend! is it a book or something?
Happy Theophany! I didn't know that's the name of the celebration, thanks for teaching me something new and beautiful!
Just had our home blessed yesterday! Such a relief since we celebrated Theophany a couple weeks ago. We haven't had it blessed the two years prior so we really made an effort this year to make sure we had it done.
