I took this photo yesterday of Hannah and my dad...she is 9 and he is 59...until next month, when he will be 60! Can you tell they love each other?
I've been hanging laundry outside to dry this summer...saving energy. I make sure to check for bugs, shake well before folding and check for bird poops...I am used to wearing crisp clothes. I like the freshness. Did you notice our new 6' privacy fence? And our garden....tomatoes galore!
What a sweet photo! I love the new fence :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful! family is such a gift!
ReplyDeleteYour blog music got our whole family on a sort of informal research project. One person said it was "the French national anthem or something" and another person said it was from the movie Amélie, but a third person said, no, it was Sabrina, and he checked online, and gloated over being right. I didn't care so much, but I know that it plays in my head all day lately (oops--I mean when I'm not singing a troparian hymn :-)) and I do love it.
ReplyDelete:D Love the photo of your daughter and your Dad!
ReplyDeleteNothing like clothes hung on the line. Growing up we did this a lot, sometimes even into November. I can remember bringing in frozen jeans and standing them up in the kitchen! Our community does not allow clotheslines....boooooo!! I used drying racks in my sunny kitchen!
:D :D :D Hope you are having a great weekend! :D
