Late summer

Selenite from my great Uncle Bill, who is 92 years old.  He's a geologist and lives in Ithaca.  He taught at the University of Rochester and then at Cornell.

Paul held the pitcher with extra holy water on the feast of Dormition.  The chapel in the cemetery is named for the Dormition of the Theotokos, so the tradition of having a procession around and sprinkling of holy water was done.  Always feels extra festive.

We took a 2 night trip to Niagra Falls.  We saw my sister and her family who were on their way from Ohio back to Canada. The next day, we went on the Maid of the Mist boat ride. It was a great little trip.

Friday evening we ate fish and fries!  

Niagra Falls!  It's such an immense amount of water.  I stayed home and slept while everyone else went to the evening illumination of the falls and to see the fireworks there.  I am 36 wks along and need extra rest.. This baby moves everyday... a lot!
