Sleepy

George's first Pascha!  He was good through the midnight service, bright-eyed, looking at all the beeswax candles and smiling at people with the joy I'm sure his soul felt while we celebrated Christ's Resurrection.
I made 8 kulich in all. One without raisins for my husband.  3 with Thompson organic raisins & 4 with golden raisins. Lemon icing and raisins to decorate.  My niece made these earrings as a gift for me.
Christ is Risen!

Bathroom

Instead of the bathtub, the kitchen sink for a bath and washing our hair. This is the before photo, to be honest, it looks pretty good, but we really wanted to retile the floor:
After taking the old tub our and the plastic shower liner, they had to rebuild the floor.
Cutting the tile outside, so glad for mostly good weather and our plum tree blooms.
The new subway tiles for the wall.
This sink had to be returned (love the black & white on the new floor, but the drawer was where one of the water pipes comes in) and we decided to go with a pedestal sink.  More photos to come!
And we baked kulich!

Go outside

Yesterday we helped pull weeds in the garden at church.  That's a huge clump of mint!  It was taking over the herb garden.
I'm inspired by friend who is making a log of time outside.  We spent 5 hours out yesterday!  Goal #1000hoursoutside. Maybe we'll go over that goal!
Rollerskating after church today...it was first time for Paul.
We started redoing our bathroom. My brother-in-law is a plumber!  He is doing most of the work. I'll share the before and after photos next week!  Rob put on an enamel tub paint (in the garage):
My view a few times each day.  Truth is life isn't easy though.  I bought St. John's wort & am hoping it helps me to be a more positive person. I'm starting off with a 375mg capsule everyday.  I'm also taking a probiotic (and making kombucha, which I love with blueberries) & dessicated cow liver in a capsule for vitamin B12. I have had a hard time preparing dinner, making time for me to shower, & get upset easily, trying to keep the house relatively clean, laundry, dishes, even grocery shopping.  The weather warming up, more fresh air & sunshine will help, I'm sure.

Sun & clouds

Today we had a yard sale.  It's finally warm enough & not raining.  Paul said, "I want more freckles."
So much sun!  And clouds!!
 5 months old!
Our library has a free preschool program put on by the YMCA.  They were listening to classical music & told to turn on their listening ears & close their eyes to help them focus!  Below, they learned about the moon phases.
Nap time.  And knitting & reading!
I put George in his outdoor suit, on a cooler day this week.  I was hoping to go out for a walk, but Paul needed my help in the bathroom & when I came back, I was surprised to see that George was sound asleep!
I'm knitting the Selene scarf and hope to have it done by Pascha.  This coming week I plan to wear the same simple dress every day (with different sweaters and scarves) inspired by the company called "wool&" and https://www.instagram.com/mamabirdemma/
