Russian Fest last year was really awesome...tomorrow is the big day. 11am to 5pm. I just baked the last batch of piroshki and coconut macaroons to sell. I hope everyone likes the aprons I've been sewing.
Back in March, I opened an Etsy shop...just added 3 items to it...and hoping to add a bunch more over the next couple of weeks. Sewing is so much fun. Did you click on the link in my post just below to see how to sew a yo-yo? SO easy. Give it a try!!!
I just love Crabtree & Evelyn. There is a shop about a mile from our house...I think it's one of the best places to find gifts (well, okay, not for my husband). They sell these soaps...so pretty...and all made in the USA! I want to try to make soap.

would be neat to make soap! I have been so happy wtih some soap that I got at a health food store for super cheap - less than 2.00 a bar - one is tea tree oil and the other olive oil (it's a dark green bar) and I am pleased with both; crabtree and Evelyn is super fancy and nice but wow not cheap! I got something there years ago for a friend's wedding gift!
I hope the fest is great!
Hi Martha! I hope you're having a good time at the fair! I see you've been busy making lots of wonderful goodies. Can't wait to read all about it when you get home :)
I can totally see you making soap. If you need some tips I've got a few websites I use all the time for inspiration and help.
Great suggestions!
