We got granny smith apples! They're great eaten as is...and also delicious baked. Last night we had pie.
I like to bake 2 things at the same time, and so halved a spaghetti squash.
We had the 1st fire in our woodstove. Paul had a giant marshmallow.
Band photos from a professional...love them! They qualified for state last week!!

very lovely! that pie is so nice! :) <3
Apple pie and mashmallows... mmm... Such wonderful tastes of the season! The first first fire, and the first gooy marshmallow is so good! :) You were asking a few question on my post recent blog post, where you left a comment. You link was no-reply, and I couldn't find an email link for you in your profile... I left a reply to your comment at my blog, but not sure you'll have time to go back, so I will reply here, if that's OK... No, I'm not from Norway, I'm American... Originally from the state of PA. But I but have lived here in Norway for nearly 18 years--thanks to lovely Norwegian husband! ;) I'm Catholic really, but due to some church issues and basically there not being enough Catholic churches here... well, it's a bit complicated... so I'm currently attending a Lutheran Church in the town where I live as there is no Catholic Church, which is very nice, and lovely folks there. Going to church is better than not I do miss the rituals and holy days, etc., though... Much of my private devotions is still very Catholic. I have a great fondness for the Orthodox Church, and my reading dips into that sometimes. I find icons very supportive for prayer and Christian practice. :) Thank you for the recommendation of Sally Fallon--her books are new to me! I'm glad have found you--thanks to much for visiting me! :))) God Bless you & yours!
