The typewriter

Rob found this last week at Valley Thrift on Reading Rd for just $3.99 and we're loving it. Hannah has been wanting one for a long time. We kept looking at thrift stores... Hard to be patient. We have all been excitedly typing away, I love listening the clicking and clacking... Hannah just wrote a letter to our dear friend, Joanna, in Vermont on this.

Haha! It was so everyday for me growing up - now it's like an antique! Yikes. =)

Great idea--I'll have to break our old electric out. Aviana has been learning to type on goodtyping.com I bet she'd love to see it on paper...

i love it, that's so cool! :) I was excited when I scored an electric typewriter for free a few years ago. Someone was getting rid of it and I just lucked out. :) FUN!

ha, that's neat! we have a weird old one of great-grandma's that has a rotating circle of letters hit with only one arm instead of a fan of them.

it's hard getting ribbons for those old typewriters now!
