I dyed a shirt of mine and one of Hannah's dresses (it was white, she got blue marker on it...dye was the perfect coverup) with Dylon dyes, available at Joann's right now, on SALE I might add!Do you like that little flower I crocheted? I am hoping to meet up with my friend Kristina today...I've crocheted some for her!
Yesterday was my little niece Emma's 2nd birthday...isn't she co cute with her pigtails?
Shelling freshly picked peas from our garden...which I mixed with walnuts, raw chopped broccoli, cooked crumbled bacon, red onions and mayonnaise for dinner last night. Yum.

Yum.Me...with my nephew, Isaac, who is officially one month old today!I just read my old friend Christina's blog and was so happy to see they are ready to start building a new church! We have a small church and have been planning for years to build a bigger church to the glory of God, but we have been set back about 2 years...the initial plot of land would need a retaining wall that was outrageous, so we are buying a new piece of land!

I had a good laugh over your stiff towels comment. We try to use our clothesline all summer. But we have a big marital argument about towels. I say that they just have to go in the dryer. Sacrifice the energy and money for that one, I say! My husband insists "They soften up after a while." Well, not really. I just can't endure stiff towels.
I love the colors you used! So bright and cheerful! And how cool that you and Kristina might meet up! I wish we could have some kind of an Orthodox Blogger Conference! That would be so cool!
Your nephew is absolutely precious! Geri will be going pretty soon! I can't wait to see my new niece or nephew!!
I haven't dropped by in toooo long and I just love your blog. Your dinner with fresh goodness from the garden sounded wonderful and what a good idea to dye the clothes - personally, I would love to hang my clothes out on the line, divine smell from the outdoors! (okay, I hate the stiff towels too, but the scent on bed linens is fabulous)
