Here are a few photos we took of Grandma's beautiful Victorian house. She passed away in 2002, it's hard to believe it's been 5 years, we saw her a few months before, though, we flew to Vermont to spend Thanksgiving with her, and it was her first time meeting Hannah, her 1st great-grandchild, now she has 5...all girls.
A really nice woman named Valerie now owns the house, she runs a hair salon in the front room (on the left side in this photo) that has LOTS of windows, Grandma's piano used to be there, I remember singing many songs with her on Thanksgiving, like "We Gather Together" and "All things Bright and Beautiful."
We also lived there for a month before we moved into our house in Connecticut. We showed her Pacman and she was really addicted...she was always fun, very pretty, even as she grew older, enjoyed art of all sorts, loved to travel and play scrabble.

Wow! That's a gorgeous house. I'm sorry to hear about your grandma, though :( Mine passed away in May, and I miss her something fierce.
I love the picture you have up with you and your girls! They're adorable :) You guys can come over for BBQ salmon anytime!!
The pic's are great!!! Wow! what an amazing house. The architecture is soooo different to anything we have here and there is no boundary wall between the street and the house. Who owns it now???
I love how Hana is posing for the camera.....very sweet.
You must miss your Granny, I hardly knew mine {she was a Jehova's Witness and they didn't encourage her spending time with us}....pity because family is so important to me.
Anyhow....keep well and give the girls a big **HUG** from "Aunty" Kim in Cape Town.
I'm so glad you got a photo of the girls at Grandma's house!! I'm glad they got to visit a place that meant so much to you and the rest of our family.
