 A few days ago we went to a local book shop where the kids made pom poms and then they read aloud this book Extra Yarn by Mac Barnett illustrated by Jon Klassen (I really love the pictures, looks like he rolled paint onto knitted fabric and pressed it on the paper)!

I saw someone mention this book on Ravelry and I'm so excited to read it! How fun! We used to have a beautiful little children's bookshop near me and I just know they would have done a fun display for this book. Unfortunately, it is no more. :( So sad!
