Ice rink in our backyard

Rob decided to make a simple ice rink in our backyard, using wood to make a rectangular frame, then laying a thick large piece of plastic that he got at the hardware store over top and then filling it with water. Thankfully, it's been cold enough to freeze. That's Olivia ice skating in the photo above. We're on the look out for a few more pair of ice skates (one for me & one for Hannah)...hoping to find some at a thrift store near us!

that's really great! brings back memories for me of having a similar ice rink at home... (we learned to skate holding on to an old high chair, believe it or not!) :)

Very cool! (hee hee) I think we might do this. What size skates are you looking for? We do a lot of "thrifting" so I can keep an eye out if you'd like.
(I can comment now that I remembered where I hid my pass word)

that is so awesome! I love ice skating *and rollerblading* and have always dreamed of living somewhere where we could do this. Good Luck finding skates :)
