My 10 year old read the book The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner and read the next 3 books in the series and recommended them to me, so that's what I'm reading right now.
I can't believe my daughter is suggesting books to me!!!
And I've been sewing...very unprofessional, but a star design... Did you notice the polka dot fabric is leftover from the pajama pants I made over the weekend? My 8 year old daughter loves it, so it is for her, a mini quilt for Honey (one of her teddy bears). ♥
I got a card from a friend in the mail yesterday, with this bag of tea inside. Pukka - Three Ginger. Oh, it's so good. I added a bit of honey and milk. As you can see I made another batch of the Lemon Poppyseed cookies.Anyhow, I hope to get a box of that tea! I'm going to check and see if Whole Foods sells it.

Your list is wonderful! I think I will follow along your list and read one of those scriptures each day. They would make great ornaments for a lenten tree. We are making a Lenten tree this year--using bits of wool to mark our prayers. I hope we follow through. I am really interested in your vest-- what pattern will you be using?
